Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, visiting Raebareily, declined to comment on the Kolkata murder and rape case, stating that he was there to support the Dalit man who was killed and his family was blackmailed and would not be distracted from the issue. "I have come here to support the family of the victim. I will not let you distract from this matter. I will speak on the Kolkata doctor rape and murder case later," he said.
