In an exclusive interview to NDTV, Union Minister for Commerce Anand Sharma said that he spoke to the West Bengal Chief Minister before FDI in multi-brand retail was introduced and told her that while the Centre respects her views, it cannot deprive the states who are in favour of the reform.
