On The Buck Stops Here, Minister of State Kiren Rijiju speaks on where he stands on beef ban, Greenpeace, Delhi government, Armed Forces Special Powers Act and China. "I am a minister, I have to stand by constitutional provisions," he told NDTV adding that his comments on beef ban were "not properly represented". On his ministry being on collision course with Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, he said that Union Territories are administratively controlled by Union Home Ministry and it was "unbecoming" of Delhi chief minister to behave like a chief minister of a full-fledged state. He appreciated Tripura government's move to revoke AFSPA, but said the repealing of the Act from other states is "totally dependent on the ground situation".
