Filmmaker Nandita Das wanted to shoot Manto in Pakistan, but due to the political tension she had to recreate the streets of Lahore in Gujarat. In an interview with NDTV, she and Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about their upcoming film.Manto releases on September 21.
