"I Was the Only One Who Survived": Mumbai Attack Survivor Remembers Night of Terror
A survivor of the Mumbai attacks spoke to NDTV and said, "Me, my brother and father were at the CST station on the night of the Mumbai attacks. We were heading to Lucknow. My father went to buy tickets. Terrorist Kasab and another gunman went to the toilet, set up their guns, and then came out. After that, there was an explosion, and then they started firing. I was shot in the abdomen and didn’t realize what had happened. My father carried me on a stretcher and took me to the hospital. Even today, that bullet causes me a lot of pain, and I am unable to do any work. There were many people in the hospital who had also been shot. I was the only one who survived. An incident like what happened on November 26 should never happen again.
