IAF Launches Rescue Ops In Kedarnath: Chinook and Mi-17 Helicopters Deployed

The Indian Air Force swings into action to rescue pilgrims stranded in Kedarnath, Uttarakhand, after heavy rains caused widespread damage and disruption. One Chinook and one Mi-17V5 helicopter have been deployed to carry out relief operations and evacuate those stuck in the Kedar valley, as restoration work continues to repair damaged routes in the Rudraprayag district.
