ICAI fails to act?
The Satyam episode has not only shattered corporate India, but now with investigations going deeper, questions are being raised about the effectiveness of regulatory bodies like the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Is this body tough enough to regulate auditors in this country or should the government put another set of eyes to regulate auditors?
