Iconic Cricket Commentator Richie Benaud Laid to Rest
Former Australian captain and legendary commentator Richie Benaud was laid to rest in Sydney. Benaud died in his sleep on April 10 at the age of 84. He had been diagnosed with skin cancer late last year. The funeral was attended by the likes of Bill Lawry, Ian Chappell, Shane Warne, Michael Clarke and Mark Taylor. It was a private affair as his family had already refused a state funeral.
