IDF Kills Member Of Hamas Political Bureau At Nasser Hospital In Gaza

An Israeli airstrike hit Gaza's Nasser hospital in the southern city of Khan Younis on Sunday (March 23), killing at least five and wounding several others according to medics. Reuters footage showed flames burning the exterior sign on the hospital's facade, while clouds of smoke billowed from the building. People looked on from the street below. The strike in the area around Nasser hospital targeted a key Hamas militant, the Israeli military said, without identifying the militant. The Hamas-affiliated Shehab news agency said the strike killed a member of Hamas' political bureau, Ismail Barhoum.
