IIT-Madras Students Demand Withdrawal Of Amended Citizenship Act

Nearly 200 students took a protest march on the IIT-Madras campus, raising slogans against what they call "discriminatory amended Citizenship Act" . Many say the Act discriminates people on the basis of religion and that they can't allow an "unconstitutional" law that would change the secular fabric of India. Students also demanded action against Delhi Police for what they call "violence against students".
