Illegal detention: Mumbai cops indicted
In a major blow to the Mumbai Police, a judicial inquiry has indicted the city policemen for illegally detaining Adnan Mulla, an accused in the Mulund train blast of 2003 for over a month before arresting him. Mulla was detained illegally for 35 days before being arrested. Now the court wants to know what action the state will take against the guilty police officers.
