Illegal mining destroying Jodhpur's Balsamand Lake
Balsamand Lake, Jodhpur's major source of drinking water, is being completely destroyed by illegal mining activity. Despite a court order banning mining here and the government's repeated interventions, the mining mafia continues to operate with impunity.
