IMD Issues Warning For Cyclone 'Remal' in West Bengal
Under Cyclone 'Remal' 's influence, the IMD warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by strong winds to lash West Bengal and coastal areas of North Odisha. The warning has been issued from May 23 onwards till May 26. "There are around 40,000-45,000 fishermen in the entire Digha area and the administration has advised us to not venture into sea. We are also on alert and the fish market has also closed," fisherman said.
