Immigrant, Refugee T-Shirt: Feel Horrible, Says Priyanka Chopra to NDTV
Actor Priyanka Chopra, criticised for a magazine cover that was viewed as insensitive to the refugee crisis that has hit millions globally, said that she was "sorry that sentiments were hurt, "adding that the "intention was the opposite". Priyanka appeared on the cover of Conde Naste magazine in a vest with the words "refugee", "immigrant", "outsider" struck off, followed by "traveller". Speaking to NDTV in New York, the 34-year-old actor said she felt horrible that so many sentiments had been hurt unintentionally.
