Recalling Rahul Gandhi's meeting with the Chinese ambassador over the Doklam crisis in 2017, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on January 28 took a jibe at the Congress leader and said he would rather go to military officials to know about the border situation and not to another country's ambassador. "China took this land in 1962. But the country gives the impression as if the incident happened recently. People say that you are not thinking with an open mind. But at least I know where I have to go. I will go to our military officials and not the Chinese ambassador," he said.
