"In A First, Women's Issues At Forefront Of G20": Smriti Irani To NDTV

Union Minister Smriti Irani today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi focusses a lot on women's issues as part of governance. She told NDTV women's issues are at the core of PM Modi's governance model and policies. Many talks as part of the G20 Summit also have issues linked to women as key elements of discussions. "Women in small and medium enterprises sector are crucial for the growth of India's economy," Ms Irani told NDTV, adding the response of women to India's G20 presidency has been overwhelming.
