In heartland of the Vokkaligas, Bengaluru North Lok Sabha constituency is up for a heated battle. Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, who is seen as the BJP's female face in the state, is pitted against a professor known for steering public policy, the Congress's Rajeev Gowda, in what's expected to be an interesting contest.
