In Big Tribal Outreach, Rahul Gandhi To Visit Rajasthan's Bhilwara
Rahul Gandhi will be in Bhilwara on Wednesday in the Congress's biggest outreach to the tribal vote bank in Rajasthan ahead of assembly elections later this year. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot, despite an injury which has left him wheel chair bound, will be present at this big-ticket meeting along with a slew of political leaders from Rajasthan including Sachin Pilot. It's significant that Mangarh Dham in Banswara has been chosen as the site for the political rally that also commemorates tribal day on August 9. Mangarh dham is a site sacred to the tribals as it saw a sacrifice by the community against the British in 1913.
