Dr Randeep Guleria, director of AIIMS in Delhi, has expressed concern over the "significant number" of asymptomatic cases and has called for a preventive strategy in places with large number of cases. "In cities like Delhi where you have a large number of cases, I would say the best strategy is to presume everyone is positive unless proven otherwise," he said. He also spoke of "social responsibility". "This pandemic is going to be fought by people in the households, on the streets and at homes rather than in hospitals," he said.
