As the number of coronavirus cases rises, questions have been raised about whether Delhi's infrastructure can cope with the disease and patients with other conditions. Social media is now flush with stories of harried family members of patients running from hospital to hospital in search of a bed. In Delhi's Uttam Nagar, a family of a COVID-19 patient who died on June 2 has been running from pillar to post to get tested even after several family members are showing symptoms of the disease. The family which includes senior citizens claims that they have been trying the helpline of the Delhi government but haven't received any response. The family also visited the Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital to get themselves tested but were sent back citing lack of testing kits at the hospital.
