In Hyderabad, Police Checks Phones For 'Ganja, Drugs' Chats

A video has gone viral of Hyderabad city police checking mobile phones of citizens as part of a drive to crack down on drugs, narcotic substances. NDTV has a video of a Hyderabad policeman admitting on camera that they are searching phone chats for words like ganja and weed. A senior police officer has said no one was being forced to show their mobile but said citizens were cooperating.
