In Kerala Gold Smuggling Case, Accused's Fresh Attack Against Chief Minister

Swapna Suresh -- a key accused in the gold smuggling case -- has made a fresh attack against the Kerala Chief Minister. She challenged Pinarayi Vijayan to release CCTV footage from Cliff House, the official residence of Kerala Chief Minister. She claimed it would show discreet meetings were held between the UAE consul-general and Swapna Suresh, a violation of the rules of ministry of external affairs. The challenge comes a day after Pinarayi Vijayan rubbished allegations levelled against him and termed it baseless on the floor of the house.
