In Punjab Congress Tussle, No Chief Minister-By-Rotation, Say Sources
Congress today denied rumours of a rotational chief minister arrangement in Punjab. Rahul Gandhi will announce just one name as the chief ministerial candidate tomorrow, sources said. Amidst the heated contest for the top job in the state, there was earlier a buzz that Mr Gandhi would announce two chief ministerial candidates in his big reveal in Ludhiana on Sunday to accommodate both state Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and current chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi.
