Punjab is potentially sleeping over a foodgrain scam running into crores of rupees. With over Rs 6000 crore worth of paddy and rice in the stock, private rice shelling mills in Punjab are milking money from the government at high cost. All because of lack of storage space for foodgrains in the state.
