The youth vote will be crucial, significant and different this time in Rajasthan. More and more young voters are voting beyond caste lines, independent of family views. There are about 20 lakh first time voters in Rajasthan in the age group of 18 to 25. They form about 2.58 % of the over 4 crore voters in Rajasthan. But first time voters from Sardar Samand village in rural Jodhpur said they don't want a coalition government. The youth say coalition governments are indecisive and also believe national security is an important issue in this election. The youth also said they want a government that focuses on jobs and education in rural Rajasthan.
