In Uttar Pradesh, Vaccination Only For Residents? NDTV Ground Report
The UP government has issued a letter saying UP vaccines are only for UP residents. According to the letter, you have to provide residence proof at the vaccine centre - this applies to those in the 18-44 category. Then the UP Information Department denied this news. But an NDTV spot check at a vaccination center in Sardhana in Meerut showed that the vaccine was only being given after checking the local address of UP in the Aadhaar card.
