To mark India's Independence Day, India's small rocket is all set to soar on its third developmental flight. ISRO's Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV), will lift off with an experimental earth imaging satellite named EOS-8 and special instrument made by a Chennai based start up with a cheeky name Space Rickshaw, both will be lofted into a low Earth orbit from Sriharikota on Aug 16, 2024. NDTV's Science Editor Pallava Bagla caught up with Dr M Sankaran, Director of ISRO's UR Rao Satellite Center to understand the significance of this launch
