India is a remarkable nation. A country of diversity, of contradictions that all come together to make it a vibrant, thriving democracy. As India turns 70, we have so much to be proud of and yet there's so much we need to change. As India turns 70, we are also witnessing a very visible, very muscular form of nationalism. Does that reflect on our strength as a democracy? Or does that show up as a weakness? An insecurity? What does it mean to be a patriot in India today? And as we move into the next 70 years, are we more united or more divided as a nation?
