India And Bhutan: Building Bonds Through Literature

Earlier this month during a visit to Bhutan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stressed on the importance of India's special relationship with the country and said India is honoured to have a friend and neighbour like Bhutan. To further India and Bhutan's people to people connect, an annual literary festival - Mountain Echoes - in its tenth year, is igniting conversation between people. In an interview to NDTV, the co-directors on the festival - actor Kelly Dorji and author Parimal Bhattacharya spoke about these special ties and the friendly nature of the people of Bhutan.
