India, China agree to take talks forward
The seventh round of talks between India and China ended in Kumarakom on Monday. Though nothing concrete has emerged from the talks, the exercise certainly helped the two countries to move towards a broader framework for resolving the boundary dispute. Picturesque Kumarakom also provided the perfect setting for strengthening the camaraderie between National Security Advisor M K Narayanan and Chinese executive vice foreign minister Dai Binggou.
