This week has seen a reset in India-China ties which were in the red since the Galwan clashes in 2020. First came the news of an agreement between the two sides to disengage at the key points on LAC in Ladakh. The two sides agreed on patrolling in their respective areas and go back to situation before 2020. Now the disengagement on LAC has begun and Army sources say that it will be complete by the month-end. But how far can India trust China, given the chequered history of India-China relations?
