India is fighting back the coronavirus. There is a robust system in place to ensure surveillance is maintained on those who may have come in contact with those who have contracted the virus. Other key steps are being taken. The remaining two ODIs against South Africa have been called off and the IPL has been postponed. In some states, schools have been shut and there are strong steps to discourage travel. After banning visas, the centre has given itself special powers to override states on matters of health to be able to tackle the outbreak countrywide. Tonight, we ask what powers does this give the central government and state government to deal with this and also if there has been any development on vaccines or cure?
