Prime Minister Narendra Modi and German Chancellor Angela Merkel have signed eight major deals in Berlin today. "We are looking at outcome-oriented momentum in India-Germany ties and a quantum jump specially in economic ties," said PM Modi after their meeting, describing the two countries as "made for each other." Ms Merkel praised India as a reliable partner; later this week, she meets with Chinese premier Li Keqiang.
