Sources also say that the government has given a free hand to the military to decide its response. This on a day India confronted Pakistan High Commissioner with proof of the involvement of Pakistan-based terrorists in the Uri attack and demanded "that Pakistan lives up to its public commitment to refrain from supporting and sponsoring terrorism against India".
