India's G20 presidency showed the country emerging as the voice of Global South, said G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant at a summit of business leaders from the member nations. "Six of the 12 fastest growing countries are from the African region. Throughout our presidency, we advocated a permanent membership for the African Union," he said.
