"India has joined the ranks of weaker economies"
Saumitra Chaudhuri, Member of Planning Commission spoke to NDTV Profit on inflation and rupee depreciation. He says that while inflation is moving in the right direction, rupee is complicating the picture. He added that the Chinese currency is the only one bucking the trend, with the volatility in global exchange rates hurting the Rupee. "India has joined the ranks of weaker economies," Chaudhuri said.
