On India Matters this week, we explore the modern day idea of love - from talking to young authors who have been writing in the genre of romance to young singers who are singing about love and relationships. NDTV's own Ravish Kumar's collection of short love stories -'Laprek' already has a phenomenal following on Twitter world and Facebook. Interestingly, the book's references do not belong to the national capital, or to the corridors of power, but to the congested lanes of the newer urban settlements. Challenging the sexual and violent lyrics of Honey Singh's misogynistic songs, 20-year-old Rene Verma, a college student, performed her parody rap titled 'An Open letter to Honey Singh' at the Delhi Poetry Slam. Her performance went viral on social media and has already crossed a million views on YouTube. This time Rene turns her gaze to speak about love - in a piece specially written and performed for India Matters.
