In rural Uttar Pradesh, a tiny village reflects the reality of much of modern India. Poor roads, no electricity and a population of young girls who have dropped out of school. In this grim picture, the Pardada-Pardaadi school holds out a sliver of hope and the promise of change, offering an education based on both academics as well as skills.
