India's First VR-Enabled Metaverse For Schools To Launch In Assam By 2025
IIT Guwahati has partnered with Assam government and in working a state of the art virtual reality enabled metaverse platform for the first time in the country, taken virtual reality skill labs to even rural schools where the students will learn their lessons in their local languages in a metaverse environment using virtual reality technology and gadgets. This platform alert students to engage directly with complex topics to virtual reality and promoting deeper learning, creativity, and it also aims at promoting curiosity and will be implemented in some schools in Assam by 2025 November.
