It is meant to be India's very own low-cost passenger plane. Efforts are on at the National Aerospace Laboratory in Bangalore to design and manufacture the country's first, indigenous nearly 100-seater aircraft. At the helm of affairs of this ambitious project is the former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the man who flew India to the moon, G. Madhavan Nair.
