There's a unanimous chorus of cheer all round as India's first mission to Mars blasted off this afternoon from Sriharikota. This Mars mission has been a huge success story for ISRO, our scientists and the entire country, putting India on a global platform like never before. Especially when the buzz in the backrooms is that most of our brilliant scientists have gone abroad. But this Mars Mission has thrown up another open debate on the social media about ISRO chief's visit to the Tirupati temple ahead of the launch to seek blessings for the mission.
