Rough, rocky and unpredictable--these are words often used to describe India's border areas, where Command officers, Border Security Forces and other military and paramilitary officers work day in and day out.
Technology start-ups are entering every industry and sector in the country and the defence space is no exception to this. Entrepreneurs have been developing infra-red lasers, robotics, drone mapping and artificial intelligence for border security, plotting of operations and air force training. And some of these founders have spent months living in these unpredictable, volatile areas to better understand the problems that need solving. Meet some of these entrepreneurs whose technology is ushering in a new, modern age of tech-enabled warfare on this episode of Startup Wednesday.
