India and the United States resume their high level 2+2 Ministerial talks on Friday with discussions involving Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, his counterpart, Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the US Secy Defence Lloyd Austin. These are annual talks held alternatively in India and the United States and takes forward the deep strategic relationship between the countries. This comes at a time when there has been a major announcement - of huge strategic importance. The US will invest 500 million dollars in a major port being constructed by the Adanis in Colombo.
