India and the US are taking their strategic partnership to the next milestone - the two countries are now engaged over a range of strategic, security and defence issues under the initiative for Critical and emerging technology or the iCET. Raymond Vickery, Former US Assistant Secretary of Commerce, tells NDTV, "This is a welcoming development. This is a process which has been in line for many years. This needs to be seen in context. What has been done before and what can be done now - it does mean US and India have strategic interests in common. Now we have to work on so many other democratic values to fight for peace worldwide."
