As the exit polls went wrong after the last phase of polling on Saturday, an overwhelming majority of them spoke in one voice and also gave the BJP and the NDA an overwhelming majority. The poll of polls, an aggregate of 14 exit polls, had given 365 Lok Sabha seats to the NDA, up from the 352 it had won in 2019, and just 146 to the INDIA alliance. Political analyst Kartikeya Batra joins NDTV for a discussion: "Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal turned out to be great outliers; for Congress to get 7-8 seats in UP is nothing but a dream; I'm not surprised by West Bengal."
