India Will Be Hit With More Heatwaves This Summer: Weather Body Chief
The India Meteorological Department (IMD)'s Director General has warned of hot days ahead for North India. India will be hit with six-eight more heatwave days this summer, he said, adding that above normal temperatures can be expected in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, which are going to be majorly impacted. Andra Pradesh and Odisha also cannot expect respite.
