India Works To Keep Social Media Safe Amid Suit Against Meta In US
Over 40 US states are suing Meta platforms and its Instagram unit, accusing them of contributing to a youth mental health crisis through the addictive nature of their social media platforms. Speaking on the issue, Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar said the days of "free pass" and "immunity" to social media platforms are over and strict accountability will be enforced.
