India's most popular cultural icon M F Hussain will celebrate his birthday in exile - the legacy of a controversial career. ''My love for sound has been responsible for many things including inventing my date of birth. I knew I was a Leo but didn't know date or year. But because I liked the sound of September I decided I was born on 17 September 1917. But the alliterative sound of three S's made me change the year to 1915,'' said M F Hussain.
