Indian Diaspora Members Make PM Modi's Statue With Thousands Of Lab-Grown Diamonds
Two members of the Indian community in the US, Rajkumar and Asrit, who run a jewellery business there, have a special gift for PM Modi. They made a mini statue of PM Modi embellished with lab-grown diamonds. "When PM Modi gifted lab-grown diamonds to Ms Biden, we took inspiration from that. It took one and half years to make this exact statue because we did a lot of errors and trials. This is the exact enamel statue we were able to make in Surat," Rajkumar said. "We are hoping to give this to PM Modi here, but if not, we will visit India in December," he added,
"We made the statue 3-4 times and 30-40 people worked together to make it in one and a half years. There are thousands of pieces of lab-grown diamonds in it," said Asrit.
