Indian diplomat accused of beating his wife transferred: Sources

Sources have told NDTV that Anil Verma, an Indian diplomat in UK, is being transferred back to India. He is accused of physically abusing his wife. Sources said the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has taken a very serious view of the incident. Anil Verma will face action on his return, if any, only under Indian laws, they added.
